Chemical Compliance Quality Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking a person to join our Quality Compliance team as a Chemical Compliance Engineer. This role is important to ensure our company maintains the highest standards for regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of chemistries in parts/materials and can work with our Design & Procurement team to identify where we have restricted chemicals in our products while proposing potential replacements (if available). Responsibilities: - Follow changes to regulatory requirements US, EMEA, Asia and translate it into product requirements - Proactively engage with the appropriate Industrial Organizations like SEMI Compliance Working Groups - Collaborate with Advantest internal Compliance teams. - Responsible for customer inquiries on regulatory topics and material compliance declarations - Maintain and support our "Design for the Environment" guideline - Support environmental aspects for all US based new product development projects & product end of Life - Provide support and guidance to stakeholders on environmental aspects - Manage Advantest requirements in fulfilling global environmental product compliance - Generating routine complian...
