Shaft Machinist - 2500 Department: Manufacturing / Operations / Quality Employment Type: Full Time: Location: US - Oklahoma - Wilburton Reporting To: Jacob Karr: Compensation: $22.84 / hour: Description: Responsible for operating computerized numerically controlled lathes and machining centers to produce finished products from rough castings. Key Responsibilities: - Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System. - Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures. - Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Production Supervisor. - Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. - Meets daily production schedule as assigned. - Operates a computerized numerically controlled lathe or machining center to produce finished products from rough castings. - Monitors machine performance to ensure consistent dimensioning of parts produced and makes necessary adjustments. - Perform required quality checks on completed parts to ensure specifications are met. - Performs other duties as required or assigned.
