Position Summary: Ensures all food preparation and storage areas are cleaned and maintained in a safe and sanitary manner Job Title: Steward: Department: Food & Beverage: Reports To: Stewarding Supervisor: FSLA Designation: Non-exempt: License Type: Non-gaming: Target Pay: Start - $24.39 One Year - $27.10 Qualifications: - Sets up the dishwashing area with racks, chemicals, supplies and carts - Scrapes food from dirty dishes - Places tableware in racks or on conveyor to dishwashing machine - Washes pots, pans, and other cooking utensils and equipment - Sweeps and mops kitchen floors - Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other kitchen or beverage areas as needed - Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers - Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans - Maintains the can wash area on loading dock in sanitary and neat condition - Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas - Organizes china, glassware, silverware, kitchen equipment and utensils and supplies - Follows sanitation and safety guidelines - Other duties may be assigned - Must be 18 years or older - High school diploma or equivalent - Six months or more related ex...
