Job Summary: The Teacher Assistant assists the Teacher/LTA in an Early Childhood classroom of 9-18 early childhood (Infants – PreK) students with and without disabilities. Job Responsibilities: Implements lessons plan including instructional groups per teacher’s direction. Assists in planning and developing/setting up instructional materials for classroom. Assist in administering assessments/progress monitoring. Works with the teacher in documenting academic progress through authentic observations and data collection. Utilize and ensure consistent implementation of behavior techniques and classroom management techniques and data collection. Perform lead teacher assistant duties in his/her absence.
