About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a M&A Associate to join the team in Paris and work closely with industry coverage and M&A teams in U.S. and Continental Europe. The role involves performing the full range of Associate responsibilities within an M&A environment, including preparing client coverage materials, supporting transaction origination, and executing M&A mandates. The team operates on a sector-agnostic basis with a focus on complex cross-border transactions between U.S. and Europe. The team is expected to grow in the coming years to support increasing cross-border deal activity. In this role, you will: - Perform the full set of responsibilities expected from an M&A Associate in a team comprising of Interns, Analysts, Associates, Vice Presidents, Executive Directors and Managing Directors. - Conduct financial analysis, including comparable transactions and public company analysis. - Build detailed financial models for valuation and transaction-related purposes. - Prepare marketing documents, including pitch materials, confidential offering memoranda, management presentations, fairness opinions and board presentations. - Conduct comprehensive financial and industry due d...
