Part of EPUKI, Langage Power Station was built in 2010 and is the baby brother of our fleet. Its high-pressure systems and its modern technology mean the station gives market leading efficiency to the National Grid and can offer flexible energy generation. So, when the sun isn't shining or the wind isn't blowing, Langage is ready to fill the gap making sure we all stay powered. Langage is an important part of the energy supply for the UK. Langage has two gas turbines, each with a heat recovery steam generator powering a steam turbine. When it was built, Langage was one of the highest efficiency air-cooled combined cycle plants in the world.
