Job Summary Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Accountant plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the Bank’s accounting operations, regulatory reporting, and internal control processes. This position ensures the integrity of the general ledger, assists with monthly and quarterly financial closes, supports tax and audit activities, and prepares financial reporting used by Executive Management. Essential Duties: Accounting Operations: - Perform month ‑ end, quarter ‑ end, and year ‑ end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, and financial statement support. - Maintain the general ledger, ensuring proper classification in accordance with GAAP and bank ‑ specific accounting policies. - Manage fixed asset and prepaid accounting, including capitalization, project tracking, depreciation/amortization schedules, and reconciliation of related subledgers. - Review and approve invoices, reimbursements, and expense classifications for accuracy and policy compliance.
