Overview The Underwriting Manager must believe in, practice, and initiate all Green Brick Partners values set forth in an acronym we call HOME. The Underwriting Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the underwriting department to ensure high quality, compliant loan decisions across Conventional, FHA, VA, and USDA products. This role manages daily workflow, staff performance, production efficiency, and adherence to agency, investor, and regulatory guidelines. The manager serves as the escalation point for complex loan scenarios, ensures consistent application of underwriting standards, and drives operational excellence across the team.
