Be Connected Officer – Community Pathways £41,133 - £43,680 per annum Fixed Term – 12 Months About the Role: The Be Connected Officer is a key role supporting the development of community connections and preventative support for adults across Newham. You will work directly with residents who may be experiencing loneliness or social isolation, supporting them to access community activities, build relationships and maintain their independence. The role involves working closely with Adult Social Care, Community Neighbourhood teams, health partners and the voluntary and community sector to strengthen local networks, identify gaps in provision and support inclusive, community‑based opportunities. You will develop strong local knowledge of services, groups and spaces where people feel a sense of belonging and actively link residents into these. Some evening, weekend and occasional public holiday working is required to meet service needs.
