Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Work Shift: Evenings/Nights (United States of America) Nurse Supervisor - Med Surg Observation Tele (8AB) Will be responsible for off shift coverage. No weekends, no holidays The Nurse Supervisor c oordinates the daily operations of the nursing department, including but not limited to: staff scheduling, program planning, resource management, quality improvement, quality patient care and supervision/development of staff in accordance with all professional, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Essential Functions: Provides leadership through role modeling, mentoring, and coaching Collaborates with manager to recruit, hire, orient, and train new employees Demonstrates ability in problem solving by analyzing each situation and assessing available resources. Formulates relationship with all departments to promote teamwork. Directs activities of the department in accordance with hospital policies, objectives, and applicable local, state, and federal regulation.
