Description PURPOSE: This position is primarily responsible for the repair and maintenance of production mold tools. EDUCATION AND/OR PROFESSIONAL LICENSE(s)/EXPERIENCE: Minimum two- (2) year Technical Certificate from college, technical or vocational school; or 5 or more years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Mechanical background is essential. Knowledge of industrial electricity would be considered a plus. LANGUAGE SKILLS: · Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. · Ability to write correspondence. · Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees of the organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: · Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. REASONING ABILITY: · Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
