Gidgee Healing is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service delivering holistic, culturally safe care across Mt Isa, North West and the Lower Gulf regions. We lead a broad range of primary health, mental health and wellbeing services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, including the Normanton Recovery and Community Wellbeing Service (NRCWS). About the Service: NRCWS supports individuals and families affected by alcohol and other drugs (AOD), gambling and family violence—partnering with community and stakeholders to reduce harm and strengthen spiritual, cultural, mental and physical wellbeing. The Opportunity: As a Caseworker, you’ll deliver case‑managed Social & Emotional Wellbeing (SEWB) services, prevention and early‑intervention activities, and practical recovery supports—both in‑centre and out in the community.
