Construction Laborer Department: Operations: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: San Antonio, FL: Reporting To: John Dinovo: Compensation: $1.00 - $22.00 / hour Description: As a Laborer, you will work under the direction of the Foreman and perform a variety of construction-related tasks. This includes heavy lifting, digging, equipment cleaning, site preparation, pipe system assembly, and operating construction tools and equipment. Key Responsibilities: Role and Responsibilities: - Digging, spreading and leveling dirt, sand and gravel using a pick, shovel or rake. - Lift, carry and hold construction materials, tools and supplies. - Clean tools, equipment, materials and work area. - Mix, pour and spread concrete, asphalt, gravel and other materials using hand tools. - Join, wrap and seal sections of pipe. - Perform a variety of routine non-machine tasks such as removing forms, filling excavations, placing pipe sections in trench and assembling sections of pipe. - Perform a variety of machine tasks such as tapping soil, jack hammering and assisting in the excavation of pipe. - Must be able to climb on, off, and under various pieces of equipment, and physically access all parts of e...
