Job description
The Database Consultant provides technical support and consulting services for database systems, applications, and information technology used by CTAS and Tennessee county governments. This position is responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing database- and web-based applications that support county operations statewide. In this role, the consultant partners with CTAS staff and county officials to develop data tools, reports, and systems that improve access to information and support decision-making. The position also supports the maintenance of servers, networks, and related technologies to ensure stable, reliable system performance. Design, develop, and maintain database and web-based applications used by CTAS and county governments. Support and improve applications used across multiple Tennessee counties. Lead development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support of key systems. Maintain and enhance systems such as the Highway Resource Management System and other CTAS data applications.
