Job title: Sr Steam Turbine Engineer Location: Calipatria, CA 92233 Type: 100% On-Site Duration: Apr 20, 2026 – Oct 18, 2026 Pay Range: $55-60/hr on W2. Purpose of Position: - The Sr Steam Turbine Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of major rotating equipment including steam turbines, cooling water pumps, and injection pumps. - This role provides technical leadership, oversees maintenance programs, and serves as the owner’s representative for mechanical projects. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Adhere to, support, and enforce all company safety and environmental rules, policies, and procedures - Responsible for the proper maintenance and repair of main steam turbines, cooling water pumps and injection pumps to include development of written job scopes and procedures to complete major inspections on turbines and generators - Identify spare parts and verify stock of critical parts - Coordinates the repair of turbine rotors and turbine parts - Have reliability, predictive and preventative maintenance activities completed for the major rotating equipment.
