Join our team as a proactive and hands-on Supervisor across local Darwin remediation projects, managing QA/QC and coating inspections while overseeing infrastructure upgrade activities. This role offers the potential to transition to a full-time arrangement. - NACE 2 qualification required - Darwin LOCAL OR FIFO from Brisbane - Remediation and Defence projects THE ROLE: - Supervise a small team in terms of safety, productivity, and quality to meet industry and company standards - Manage and capture workforce hours and productivity - Coordinating direct labour and subcontractors - Liaise closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects run to program - Complete QA/QC Coating Inspections to applicable Australian and International standards - Undertake visual inspection after abrasive blasting and before coating - Welding inspection - Inspect after coating application for coating defects - Carry out surface profile tests - Create coatings inspection reports - Provide technical advice and assistance to the project team - Preparation and implementation of project quality management systems - Coach and mentor team members to deliver Abrasive Blast and Protective Coatings to the client...
