PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Joplin Thermafiber EHS Leader responsibilities will include leadership of the safety and environmental functions for the plant. This role works on implementation of critical processes, programs, and procedures to achieve goals, objectives, and continuous improvement related to environment, health, and safety. The EHS Leader will spend significant time on the plant floor, engaging and coaching employees and contractors on a daily basis. As an integral part of the plant leadership team, the EHS Leader will provide information and guidance for activities relating to the site-wide safety and operating objectives. The position acts as the subject matter expert in the plant and is accountable for building capability to ensure a plant wide safety culture. Reports to : Plant Leader: Span of Control : This position has responsibility for the EHS Coordinator as well as up to four Industrial Cleaning Crew personnel.
