Summary Job Description: Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Telemetry PRN 3rd Shift: Tele 4 is a 10-bed telemetry unit. This unit specializes in general medical surgical and telemetry patients such as but not limited to pneumonia, ESRD, Stroke, CHF and chest pain patients. Post-operative patients such as GU, Urology, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Heart Cath/PCI. The population has multiple co-morbidities and complex care. The patient population is admitted / transferred from ICU, ED and PACU. Tele 3 is a 22-bed telemetry unit. This unit specializes in general medical surgical and telemetry patients such as but not limited to pneumonia, ESRD, Stroke CHF and chest pain patients. Post-operative patients such as GU, Urology, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Heart Cath/PCI. The population has multiple co-morbidities and complex care. The patient population is admitted / transferred from ICU, ED and PACU. State Registered Nurse Assistant: Under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse (RN) or other licensed care team member, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct and indirect patient care.
