Position Definition: Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigator, collaborates on programming and data analysis for ongoing EEG-based projects. Essential Functions: - Collaborate with laboratory statistician to clean/prepare and analyze wake and sleep EEG data - Develop, test and optimize code for performing signal processing and data analysis to achieve project scientific aims Job Requirements: - PhD in neuroscience and/or engineering with a focus on neuroscience - 3+ Years of experience in signal processing for hdEEG data - Expertise in MATLAB and/or PYTHON programming Working Conditions/Environment: The work environment is remote work station. The incumbent may sustain posture in standing or seated position and may utilize a computer terminal for prolonged periods of time. VA Onboarding Requirements: NCIRE is an affiliate organization of the San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS), which requires all candidates to complete SFVA onboarding in addition to NCIRE's onboarding process.
