Job Summary: The Research Technician will work on research projects involving vitro and in vivo investigation of novel small molecule inhibitors in the treatment of leukemia, development of transgenic animal models of leukemia, harvesting and cryopreserving hematopoietic tissues from these animals. The position will also include the isolation, processing, banking, and analysis of peripheral blood, bone marrow, and apheresis samples, as well as general lab maintenance such as ordering, stocking supplies etc. Responsibilities: Under supervision, the Research Technician will plan, design, and execute experiments, adapt existing procedures to the needs of the project, troubleshoot, and contribute intellectually to the project.
