Job description
Maintenance mechanics install, repair, and maintain machinery and equipment. Responsibilities also include building and maintaining mechanical systems, and involve the use of a variety of hand and power tools. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Receive work orders that may include drawings, specification and instructions covering scheduled and emergency repair, installation and inspection work to be done. - Read and interpret drawings (Some Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic) - Repair equipment/components without the use of drawings, specifications and/or instructions. - Plans & performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of mechanical principles, and principles of operation and application of equipment. - Adhere to all safety regulations and report any hazards that may compromise a safe workplace. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES: - Must have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in the trade working with industrial automation or a degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology or related field. - Experience with electrical and electronic tools and gauges. - Ability to read and interpret drawings (Some light Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic...
