As the 2nd Shift Superintendent, you are expected to maintain Grand Prairie’s Core Values in all communications with employees, visitors, and outside service providers. Role: The 2nd Shift Plant Superintendent serves as the senior, on-site Operations Leader for 2nd shift. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Operations, this role has full operational responsibility for production, sanitation, maintenance coordination, quality, safety, warehouse, and employee engagement during the shift. Responsibilities: - Provide plant-wide leadership and direction for all second-shift operations - Execute daily production, sanitation, and staffing plans as directed by the Senior Director of Operations - Monitor plant performance and take decisive action to resolve operational issues - Serve as the primary escalation and decision-making authority on-site during second shift - Ensure full compliance with USDA-FSIS regulations, FDA GMPs, HACCP programs, Preventative Controls, and SSOPs - Create a culture of readiness for inspections and audits for both food and people safety - Oversee adherence to regulatory a...
