Overview This position is located at MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida with 6th Medical Group This is a Direct Hire Authority solicitation. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes. Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they a re covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employme nt. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
