We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to cover Maternity Leave. Position Details: - Start Date: ASAP through mid-January - Schedule: 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM (Pre-K) or 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Elementary) Caseload: Approximately 40 students: Hourly Rate Range: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour Responsibilities would include: - Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ motor, sensory, and functional needs. - Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and therapy plans. - Provide direct occupational therapy services to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to integrate therapy strategies into the learning environment. - Recommend and implement adaptive equipment and classroom modifications to improve student accessibility. - Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and IDEA guidelines. - Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions. - Provide training and consultation to teachers and staff on strategies to support student...
