Job description

TASK DESCRIPTION: This position will support the operation of the AME system, this position will support AME information processing and perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and servicing of the AME Hardware. TASK REQUIREMENT: 1. Maintain aircraft and engine databases by processing source documents, Naval Flight Records (NAVFLIRS), Visual Information Display System/Maintenance Action Form(VIDS/MAF): make entries into AME in accordance with KAMP procedures. 2. Process Life Usage Index (LUI) data, Maintenance System Data Reports archiving, software updates, system backups and save/restore procedures. 3. Generate daily, weekly and monthly engine and aircraft reports, as required. 4. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and servicing of the Electrical Power Unit (EPU) and/or the AME server and client stations and associated network hardware and cables. 5. Ensure LUI tracking reports are provided to verify against applicable engine Aeronautical Engine Service Records prior to engine acceptance or transfer. 6.
