Venue Transport Deputy Manager Department: Venue Management: Employment Type: Fixed Term Contract: Location: Glasgow: Description: Start Date: July 2026 Role Summary The Venue Transport Deputy Manager will support the delivery of venue transport operations, acting as the designated deputy to the Venue Transport Manager, assuming operational leadership in their absence. Ensure transport plans are executed as designed, managing real-time issues, following escalation protocols and representing the transport function area in operational and stakeholder meetings. Reporting directly to the Venue Transport Manager, the role will be based at the Scottish Events Campus (SEC), overseeing transport operations across the precinct. This role is critical to ensuring operational continuity and excellence during Games Time, acting as a key link between planning and delivery at venue level. Working arrangements: The role will commence in the Organising Company’s Glasgow city centre office, with visits required to competition venues to fully deliver the responsibilities of the role.
