Description: JOB DESCRIPTION: NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option. Emory reserves the right to change this status with notice to employee. - Ensures safe and efficient operation of University Centrifugal Chillers (up to 2000 tons) and other equipment associated with the chiller plants in accordance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and standards. - Monitors, operates, and troubleshoots the chiller management system that controls the chilled water equipment serving the campus. - Monitors and maintains cooling tower water treatment controllers and associated equipment. - Maintains and records entries in logbooks, operating logs, and regulatory reports. - Performs daily rounds to inspect chiller equipment, verify efficient operation, in...
