Provide overall direction to associates to maintain consistency of purchasing and pricing while meeting company's goals. Responsibilities: Purchasing: - Direct and coordinate activities of team members in buying, selling and distributing materials, equipment and supplies. - Represent Paragon in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers. - Maintain vendor scorecard. - Source vendors of materials, equipment or supplies and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales. - Create purchase orders for the acquisition of materials. - Follow up on vendors’ status of purchase orders and update notes in system. - Responds to client group email inquiries in a timely and efficient manner. - Carries out plant and inventory control policies and procedures. - Perform accurate data entr...
