Job description

The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for facilitating the hiring and Orientation process of healthcare and administrative support workers at Sun River Health and its wholly owned subsidiaries and other affiliates, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards and providing ongoing support and training to the staff. The Onboarding Specialist works closely with the Human Resources, clinical, operations and administrative teams to ensure a smooth and positive onboarding experience for new hires and existing employees. Sun River Health has a rich history of providing quality, affordable health care to communities in need. Founded in the early 1970s by four African American women in Peekskill, New York, the organization was established to address the lack of accessible health services in their community. With the help of a small federal grant, the first Sun River Health site opened its doors in 1975.
