Senior Propane Safety Specialist

Job description

Overview It is the Senior Specialist’s responsibility to ensure that relevant company employees strictly adhere to the company policies and best practice methods developed over the years which are designed to make our operations safer. This position leads the company’s propane safety efforts by conducting propane plant and customer records inspections, providing on-the-job training to propane operation’s employees, manages the certified employee training program (CETP) for all company propane operations. This position is also responsible for fleet safety training in accordance with DOT regulations and best practices. MFA Oil Company is an Equal Opportunity/Drug-Free Employer. Responsibilities: - Conduct annual propane safety meetings and prepares transportation safety materials for monthly propane safety meetings and transportation safety bulletins - Assist new driver hires with completing required DOT/company paperwork - Provide on-the-job training to bulk and propane operations employees - Conduct propane and bulk plant safety inspections to include inspection of completed safety and service forms in customer files.
