Depending upon the desired qualifications of the successful applicant, the hiring manager may elect to fill this position as an Engineering Technologist III or one level higher level as Senior Engineering Technologist. The Engineering Technologist III is the third level of the non-Engineer degreed technical support role job classification. Engineering Technologist III provide technical expertise to solve more complex problems and leadership skills to provide oversight and direction of work in a specific area of expertise, with some supervision.
