Job Overview The Manufacturing Engineer will support the manufacturing operations including determining the most cost-effective method of manufacturing components with existing equipment/facilities as well as proposing new methods/equipment. #LI-KR1 A Day In The Life: What will help you thrive in this role? - Ensure safe operation of all equipment and processes. - Trouble-shoot and resolve manufacturing process issues. - Prepare justification documentation for capital expenditures. - Lead / Assist in tool design and manufacturing process development. - Develop and implement cost saving projects. Participate in Lean events that drive productivity and cost improvement. - Lead quality improvement activities including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions. - Work closely with product engineering in product changes/new product introductions. - Investigate and implement safety and ergonomic changes in the manufacturing setting. - Provide technical support/training to direct labor employees. - Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering. - 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required. - Previous Forging experience is a stro...
