Position Status: Full time Shift: Third Shift (Nights – Less than 12 hours per shift) (United States of America) Hours per week: 36 Job Information Exemption Status: Non-Exempt A Brief Overview: The Sterile Processing Technician, is a health care professional who will be responsible for preparing, assembling, cleaning and sterilizing all instrumentation and some equipment used in medical exams, surgeries and other clinical procedures. They will ensure strict adherence to sterilization processes and assure that instruments, equipment, and supplies are safe for reuse across patient care. The Sterile Processing Technician must demonstrate the ability to perform at a high level of skill all functions as described below. Experience Qualifications: - Experience in a acute care hospital setting. Preferred - Experience in surgery environment. Preferred - Sterile processing experience.
