Location: Central Georgia Cancer Care Pay Range: $19.66 - $34.59 Practice: Central Georgia Cancer Care: Location: 5430 Bowman Road, Macon, GA 31210 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5p: CPC certification is required prior to hire. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for ensuring all oncology and non-oncology infusion and hospital claims processed through EMR and Athena IDX are correct and compliant. Ensure proper documentation is on file. Ensure all physicians in assigned area of responsibility are complaint with dictations, and documentation with patient’s treatment. To ensure all assigned charts are coded and billed out daily. Assigns medical codes for general surgery procedures for medical records and billing purposes. As part of your duties, you look at medical records and information and assign codes for each procedure and diagnosis for each patient. Ensure that all billable charges are entered into billing system. Work with site to ensure that all required documentation is obtained for review process.
