Description Yale’s American Studies Program and the Center for the Study of Race, Indigeneity, and Transnational Migration (RITM) invite applications for a Faculty Fellow position for the Spring 2027 semester. Applicants should be pursuing active research on a topic related to race, indigeneity, or transnational migration in the United States. Individuals from all fields are invited to apply. During the five months of this appointment, the selected Faculty Fellow is expected to be in residence in New Haven, Connecticut to pursue their own research. While they will have no teaching obligations, the Fellow will be expected to present on their research. Access to Yale’s archives, libraries, and other resources, along with an office space, will be provided. The Fellow will participate in RITM and AMST’s programming, give a public talk on their research, and engage with the larger Yale community during their tenure. This fellowship is made possible with funding provided by the ASCEND Initiative. Funding will be commensurate with the faculty member’s semester salary allotment; the fellowship includes a generous travel and lodging stipend. Start date for position is January 2027. Qualific...
