HCSS Driver / Courier Services - ( 2601276 ) Description SUMMARY: To provide for the routine operation and minor maintenance of university vehicles in the transportation of materials or passengers. *WORK SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, to include some nights, weekends, and holidays. Major Duties / Critical Tasks: •Transfer patients and other assigned passengers on and/or off campus, assisting them in entering and exiting vehicle. •Deliver and/or retrieves materials as instructed. •Assists in the loading and unloading of materials from vehicle. •Maintains daily log of mileage, number of trips, passengers/cargo, destination, and fuel and oil consumptions. •Inspects condition of assigned vehicle on a regular basis with regard to oil, fuel, tires and water. •Reports any needed adjustments or repairs to supervisors. •Adheres to internal controls established for departments Qualifications: Required Education/Experience One year of related experience required. Completion of defensive driver course within 30 days of hire. Must possess current Texas Class "C" driver's license, and a clean driving record. *Delivery driver experience is preferred.
