Energy Engineer - 39542 University Staff Description University of Colorado Anschutz: Department: Building Operations & Maintenance / Facilities Management Job Title: Energy Engineer: Position #: 00846581 – Requisition #: 39542 Job Summary: The Energy Engineer is responsible for the development and implementation of the department's energy management program. This includes engineering analysis of existing building systems and proposed new installations to meet energy performance goals. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure appropriate instrumentation and metering devices are in place for production/consumption measurement. - Oversee energy utilization to optimize cost performance. - Support utilities accounting and billing. - Advise on utilities purchase and associated policy. - Provide expertise in available utility company rebates programs. - Provide department representation to outside parties in support of energy goals. - Oversee energy benchmarking program in support of campus sustainability goals. - Expand the current use of data analytics systems to aid with tracking and review of energy performance for all supported buildings. - Responsible for reporting annual building energy con...
