We, the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research IGD, are looking for a student assistant for our Competence Center "3D Printing Technology" to join our team in the field of software development.: The Competence Center "3D Printing Technology" researches and develops software solutions in the field of graphical 3D printing and multi-material 3D printing. A core element of our work is the 3D printer driver Cuttlefish which prepares data for 3D printing to achieve the optimal color reproduction. In addition, we develop data-driven design software to establish a digital process with additive manufacturing in the field of prosthetics. Most related to this position is Cuttlefish::Web, a browser-based frontend and backend, developed in JavaScript, proving a user-friendly graphical user interface for Cuttlefish. Therefore, you should bring knowledge in JavaScript, CSS and HTML. Be part of change: Depending on your knowledge and skills, you will support our department in day-to-day software development tasks for Cuttlefish::Web and beyond.
