The Middle School English Language Arts (ELA) Teacher at St. Mark School in Catonsville, Maryland , will be responsible for all ELA curriculum instruction at the middle school level. The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students is essential. The teacher should also be knowledgeable in integrating technology into lessons. This position is for the 2026–2027 school year. Essential Functions: - Provide a grade-appropriate instructional program for students that adheres to the school's philosophy, goals, and objectives. - Maintain an attractive, organized, and engaging learning environment. - Develop lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocese of Baltimore and State of Maryland standards. - Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development. - Provide regular and consistent communication with parents, students, staff, and administration. - Maintain confidentiality regarding students, their families, and other employees outside the school. - Perform additional duties as needed for the supervision of students before, during, or after school. - Participate in faculty meetings, school committees, and in-service lear...
