Job description

Responsible for providing direction to Forklift Operators, training, assigning work, and resolving problems within area of responsibility. Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials from rail cars in distribution center or storage yard. - Operates industrial powered lift truck in a safe and efficient manner. - Assist and supports with training employees and certifies newly hired LTOs. - In the absence of the Shift Supervisor the Lead will act as Supervisor as needed - Inventories materials on work floor and supply workers with materials as needed. - Assists Supervisors and management of the facility in planning, assigning and directing work. - Assist LTO's with daily issues. - Assist other Leads and Supervisors with ensuring that policies, procedures, and best practices are being followed. - Need to Case Pick daily and/or as needed based on business needs. - Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed. - Observe all company...
