Description To assist the Manager and Director of Children and Family Services in program operations. The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing the children’s counseling, parenting classes, and child/teen groups. This position will also perform the duties of a Children’s Advocate, supervise interns, and Children’s Advocates in the Chicago locations. Duties and Responsibilities: - Oversee the Children’s and Family Services Program at our Chicago Locations, hire and supervise required staff. - Carry a Case load that consists of service/safety plans, assessments, counseling, support groups, case management, crisis intervention, advocacy, safety, and conflict resolution. Facilitate parenting classes. - Administer measures/assessments to the parent and children to assess effectiveness of our treatment to provide guidance and direction for setting goals. - Provide clinical intervention and support, which includes being on-call for critical issues. - Ensuring staff, interns, and volunteers are supported and have the resources to do their jobs - Facilitate regular department meetings. - Work collaboratively with other staff to advance wrap around services and a strong team cultur...
