The Florida Center for Nursing (FCN) Data Analyst will play a vital role in advancing the organization’s mission to research and address nursing workforce challenges, including supply and demand, recruitment, retention, and utilization of nurses across Florida. This position is key in converting raw data sourced from state agencies and educational institutions into actionable insights that inform healthcare workforce policy, strategic planning, and program development. Collaborating closely with businesses stakeholders, IT partners, and subject matter experts, the analyst develops data-driven insights to facilitate informed decision-making and improve FCN operations. Responsibilities include managing the full data lifecycle—from collection and cleaning to analysis and presentation—to ensure accuracy, consistency, and relevance across multiple datasets. The analyst is also responsible for the development and maintenance of user-friendly reporting tools and dashboards, broadening access to timely and meaningful information.
