Responsible for understanding, upholding, and promoting the Everus 4EVER Strategy. Employees | Value | Execution | Relationships JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the day-to-day operation of company equipment which is primarily used in a job site setting where the construction of overhead and underground telecommunication lines is being performed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: - High School diploma or its equivalent - 2 years of experience related to the operation of heavy equipment used in utility construction. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Current First Aid / CPR Card or willingness / ability to obtain. - Advanced knowledge of OSHA requirements applicable to equipment operations, repair and maintenance is needed. - Must be a member of the union that has jurisdiction over job site location. - Valid commercial driver's license and current DOT medical exam card or willingness / ability to obtain. KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: - Ability to work successfully as part of a team as well as independently on occasion. - Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to emergency situations.
