Aquatic Lead Supervisor

Position Summary: The Aquatic Lead will oversee lifeguard rotations, safe zone coverage, chemical readings, bather loads. As well as occasionally assisting in planning, supervising, and implementing activities in the Aquatics Department; Leads will assist with lifeguarding, serve as the medical responder in the facility, as well as assisting with the training of staff. Attendance at all in-service training’s is required. Duties and Responsibilities: - Supervise lifeguard staff during day-to-day aquatic operations, during special events, pool rentals, and weekly programming as directed by the Aquatics Manager. - Schedule Lifeguard and Aquatic Lead staff and manage shift coverage for day-to-day operations. - Responsible for Lifeguard communications involving scheduling, shift coverage, and audits. - Work closely with the Aquatic Program Specialist and Aquatic Fitness Coordinator to coordinate staffing needs with programming. - Assist the Aquatic Manager with interviews, swim tests, and new-hire orientations. - Maintain the Lifeguard Certification spreadsheet, alerting the Aquatic Manager of expiring certifications. - Report Lifeguard personnel issues to the Aquatics Manager, document...
