Inventory Specialist - Tool Crib Attendant 2

Job description

Responsibilities: - Perform material transactions and item master updates in MRP system including material issues to work orders, part transfers, sales order picks, inventory adjustments, inventory reclassifications, and part location changes. - Compile and maintain material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas, according to pre-determined production schedules and order priorities. - Read production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine the type and quantity of materials required, availability of stock, and order priority. - Confer with department supervisors and/or Planners to determine overdue material and parts and to inform supervisors and/or Planners of material status. - Support quarterly cycle count process which includes counting parts, data entry, and possible re-counts. - Maintain inventory location accuracy including the physical movement of parts. - Maintain strict material handling practices in accordance with procedures. - Monitor shelf-life storage and maintain proper rotation of stock. - Verify all material received for conformity with accompanying paperwork, checking for...
