Job Category: Allied Health Work Shift/Schedule: 12 Hr Evening - Morning Northeast Georgia Health System is rooted in a foundation of improving the health of our communities. About the Role: Job Summary Responsible for prioritizing testing procedures and completing those procedures in an accurate and timely manner to facilitate rapid patient recovery. Responsible for maintaining proper accurate records of all tests done in accordance with CAP, DNV, and CLIA requirements. This position is designated for laboratory technologist that work night shift with the majority of hours worked between 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. This position is designated for a Generalist that may be required to work in up to 4 areas of the lab if necessary (Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology and/or Blood Bank). The employee will be required to work in a minimum of 3 areas and be expected to maintain competencies in all areas in which they work. This position will care for patients in the adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups.
