Kendal at Oberlin is a full-service life plan community, which primarily serves older adults in the Quaker tradition. Residents are assured a lifetime of healthcare including short- and long-term nursing services, memory care and assisted living. Equally important, residents enjoy an independent, enriching living experience. Kendal at Oberlin's Hospitality Services Department is currently seeking a Laundry Team Lead for a full-time, 40 hours per week position. This is a 6:30a to 3:00p, Monday through Friday schedule, with the expectation of covering weekends/holidays when staff request off. The Laundry Team Lead is responsible for fostering a high level of teamwork with staff through effective communication, training and coaching while maintaining sanitary conditions in the laundry at all times. Further responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Collecting, sorting and washing soiled linens using industrial equipment, folding and stocking and delivering clean linens and maintaining Health Center linen par-levels. - Managing accurate records of the daily laundry production volume and the chemical and linen inventories. - Educating self and staff on proper use of equipme...
