Job Title: TECH ASSISTANT Pay: $35 Per Hour Shift : Day Shift – 8 am to 5: 00 pm Location : Salinas, CA, 93901 Schedule: Temp to Hire Special Notes: The manager is looking for a scheduler. Two (2) to four (4) years of recent scheduling experience in PT/CT, Angio, CT, US, MRI, and X-ray is required. Job Duties: 1. Under direct supervision, uses the PACS system to transmit and print/burn CDs of patient imaging studies, transports and assists patients, assists in lifting and moving patients, filing x-ray jackets. 2. Performs routine clerical duties such as preparing charts for Interventional procedures, obtaining pertinent information including patient demographics and financial data, and entering it into the computer, and provides necessary patient preparation for procedures. 3. Works with Radiologists and Nurses to schedule interventional cases. 4. Prepares and processes initial paperwork and identification bands. 5. Schedules exams for multiple modalities (PT/CT, CT, MRI, NM, US, Angio, X-ray, Mammo). 6. Phone voice must be friendly and professional. 7.
