Job description
Under the general direction of the Department Chair of Computer Science, the Hood College Department of Computer Science & Information Technology invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor position beginning Jan. 2027 or Aug. 2027. The primary responsibilities include teaching (21 credits annually) and advising undergraduate and graduate students, serving on committees within the department and college, reviewing and developing curriculum in computing and information technology, and conducting scholarly research. Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Teaching 60%: - Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology in areas including, but not limited to, computer architecture, computer organization and design, and digital logic.
