Senior Technical Program Manager, Advanced Energy Technologies

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear, Chemical, or other), Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience in program management. - 8 years of experience in technology assessment, Research and Development (R&D) management, or technical consulting within the energy sector. - Experience performing technical due diligence for energy projects or venture capital/private equity investments. - Experience with power systems and the technical requirements for integrating advanced energy technologies into the grid. Preferred qualifications: - PhD in a relevant engineering or scientific field. - 8 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. - Experience in the development or deployment of "first-of-a-kind" (FOAK) energy technologies (e.g., advanced reactors, next-gen geothermal, or novel energy storage technologies). - Experience with project finance technical requirements and working with Independent Engineers (IEs). - Experience building cross-functional roadmaps that align technical capabilities with commercial and sustainability goals. - Ability to translate...
